Street Meat, your non-traditional trio band, playing an interesting variety of Americana, Bluegrass, Prog Rock, Rockabilly, and Twisted Ragtime melded with a touch of Old-time Gypsy Soul and Punk.
These three born buskers are comfortable playing almost everywhere and have toured many places from Montreal to São Paulo singing and playing their unique brand of irresistible music.
The scene is 5 PM, Thursday July 6, 2017, inside Place Heineken beer tent during the recent Montreal International Jazz Festival as these alley cats perform their gig in front of an excited crowd of fans and tourists.

Disastrous 2017 Montreal West Island flood last Spring continues to be news because many residents that it affected still await Quebec government compensation settlement on their claims.
Depicted is the corner of Saint Jean boulevard where it meets and intersects Pierrefonds boulevard (far left, past Pizza Hut) submerged under polluted water of Rivière-des-Prairies.
This once-in-century calamity couldn’t have happened at more appropriate time in Montreal’s history just when famed, incumbent Mayor Denis Coderre embarked on his multi-million dollar wanton spending spree to mark city’s 375 years.
It also coincides with Canada’s 150th birthday when PM Justin Trudeau embarked on his own wanton spending of taxpayers’ hard-earned money however, regardless of this or any other natural or man-made disasters the giant federal Liberal money-burning party continues as planned damn the consequences.
Come to think of it this flood is nothing compared to what is about to happen to Canada before Trudeau Liberals are kicked out because the financial damage being done now by “Selfie” Justin and his rich international parasite friends is staggering.

Little Red Riding Hood’s unusual wicker basket contains critter visitors can see through slit port holes as she shows the basket to them while holding wolf tightly in crook of right arm.
Frankly the wolf looks dead, his rib cage crushed because his eyes seem bulging out and he remains limp under her arm meanwhile, that alleged critter inside basket Hood carries seems to draw smiles from sitting people as well as that man standing.
Little Red Riding Hood, wolf, and critter in basket all look fake to me then again, the whole story is just a fable this busker at the 2017 annual Montreal International Jazz Festival is simply having fun acting out to entertain visitors.

Construction continues at site despite Winter season and light snow dusting on already frozen soil, work must be done to complete the Dollard-des-Ormeaux community center extension on time.
The scene depicts construction work that continued right through last Winter and only completed a few months ago resulting in more valuable space available for community events for Dollard residents as well as entire West Island.
The extension built grafted to the existing community center structure and looks like it was there always yet it’s only this year that they completed it on time and within budget.

Two Moslem women wearing hijabs place order for “Halal” meals they savor instead of usual restaurant menu offered because their faith prevents eating food considered “haram”, not permissible or lawful in traditional Islamic law.
The scene is Saint Catherine Street on Friday July 14, 2017 during the local merchants street long sale and these two hungry young women sit down at a restaurant’s outdoor terrace, a likely place for a nice meal.
Montreal, a world-class city, is home to many different people and cultures from across the globe therefore, prepared food sourced from almost anywhere can be found including specials like Halal and Kosher, both which in many ways are alike.

Scary acrobatics moxie keeps outdoor show by man-woman buskers team under control while hundreds of eyes remain trained on them while they perform during recent 2017 annual Montreal International Jazz Festival.
These circus grade professionals did their combination juggling and dangerous acrobatics act flawlessly while being admired by a large gathering of locals and many tourists in town for the festival.
The scene seems obvious, woman busker balances herself upside down on man busker’s back, the only thing keeping her from sliding off face first onto hard ground(concrete tiles) is both their arms crossing however, their determination to succeed makes it work.
This thrilling act is another in the series of “spectacles” happening in Montreal on its 375th anniversary while Canada celebrates 150 years under the direction of famed Liberal circus masters Justin Trudeau and Denis Coderre.

“Mommy who’s their tailor?” seems what the little guy in baby carriage is saying to his mother while pointing at tall man-woman busker team, one dressed in an extra long skirt and other in extra long pants with red stripe, playing a violin and a drum set.
The scene is on Saint Catherine Street, mid-afternoon, in downtown Montreal on Friday, July 14, 2017 during a merchants outdoor sale happening along length of street with hundreds of locals and tourists checking things out.
A young blond mother is pushing a baby carriage with little boy past a man-woman team of buskers on stilts performing their routine playing classical music to entertain passersby.
Montreal celebrates its 375th year and events such as this including with tall stilt walking buskers and other strange entertainment like vivid color people is a common sight along with a string of festivals all on taxpayer’s dime

Colored savage culture shock grips downtown Montreal when suddenly blue, green, red and yellow skimpy dressed people appear amongst them then momentarily freeze like statues on the street.
I had wandered down to the corner of Saint Catherine and Saint Laurence streets when in marched squads of vividly colored people mingling with locals and tourists in town for the Just For Laughs Festival starting on July 15th.
As I looked around ordinary people were in disbelief to see this extraordinary event happening in their midst heck, what exactly was going on, who dreamed this one up and for what reason?
Trying to come to some sort of understanding seemed so complicated to most people however, after some careful thinking the awful truth became crystal clear.
Canada elected the Trudeau Liberals in 2015 meanwhile earlier Montreal elected Denis Coderre a former federal Liberal cabinet minister as mayor add that to Canada celebrating 150 years while Montreal 375 years and its Liberal party time again on taxpayer’s dime.
Estimates of cost after the dust settles ranges in the hundreds of millions with a billion or more a definite being added to Canada’s debt but who cares because Justin Trudeau, Denis Coderre, and their rich international Liberal friends will not be paying for it however, some will certainly end up in their secret offshore accounts.

The woman in ball in water fountain caper happened in the Quartier-des-Spectacles Thursday July 6, 2017 during the 2017 Montreal International Jazz Festival and children loved it.
While nobody was expecting it a woman busker inside a huge clear plastic ball rolled in and onto the water fountain area where numerous young children enjoying a warm, humid, partly sunny day played while being watched by their parents.
Most children dressed in their bathing attire and some had their plastic toys with which to play while being drenched at times by the sudden spurting of water out of numerous holes in concrete tiles of the fountain area.
The young woman inside the ball rolled into the fountain area just as the water started to erupt amusing these children, their parents, and passersby with her antics.
What went through my mind is how she managed to perform inside that ball while CO2 accumulated from her normal breathing because I didn’t see any air-vents anywhere on her ball then again, there must have been some I guess.

True believer grit evident on Saint Jean Baptiste Day in mid-afternoon scene during lull in rain as some diehards sit in few rows near stage enjoying great music nobody else would.
This year, 2017, Quebec’s patron saint’s celebration began as an overcast day with lots of rain drizzle most of the time wetting the spirits out of many however, just prior to the customary fireworks around 10 PM it all miraculously cleared up.
Around 8:30 PM another minor miracle happened, whole families many with small children suddenly started showing up for the annual festivities and their children participated prepared games that the site provided that day and everyone also hung around to enjoy the excellent fireworks.
The scene depicted is mid-afternoon during a slight lull in the drizzle and you could count the audience by the fingers of your two hands.
