Small, sitting, gathering enjoy unique blend of traditional French Canadian music as they observe talented Quebecois trio ensemble playing mostly string musical instruments inside Montreal West Island municipal public library study room.
This event took place last summer at the Dollard-des-Ormeaux municipal administration complex housing its very popular public library, and also that courtyard seen through the large windows, where small concerts and similar events are held.
Event organizers held inside probably because of the small crowd of attendees they expected, sound quality being better inside, types of musical instruments in play, and lack of speakers to boost the sound created by the performers.
Moreover, this was more of a traditional French Quebec cultural event, where being cozy inside seemed more better for the gathering.
On the other hand, having a rock’n roll concert inside such small quarters doesn’t work and the outside is more suitable because of electrical musical instruments, large speakers for sound, special strobe lights, and pyrotechnics are the norm.
