February thaw produced water trill ending as multitude of precariously hanging droplets on large Maple’s branches ready to plunge to earth meanwhile, a busy grey squirrel busily chews on tree buds temporarily unfrozen.

The large maple was covered with water trickling down its branches and trunk because the temperature had risen enough to unfreeze the film of ice covering all.

The grey squirrel realizing its opportunity quickly settled down to chew as much as possible before night and the inevitable frost returned to freeze everything again.
