An outdoor silence pervades in Centennial Park near frozen man-made lake, Canadian winter has set in with its intense cold and snow covering everything except for tall browned grasses and those dark-colored defoliated trees, nothing stirs.
In summer, this park is alive with fresh new green vegetation, birds flying, singing, gathering material and building nests for their new generations then having little ones to train for fall flyaway meanwhile, loads of humanity stroll, bicycle, jog, play tennis and volleyball, have picnics, etc.
The cycle repeats itself every year, first come autumn’s winds and rains then winter’s wicked storms and silence sets in typically after a period of minus thirty Celsius cold afterwards things relent somewhat allowing soft snowflakes to cover landscape a beautiful fluffy white.
It is when I enjoy walking through the park normally early in the morning when everything is still and very quiet and very few people are seen.
This is my contribution for WP weekly photo challenge:”SILENCE”.
