One bit of static snow debris lies orphaned in bright afternoon sun separated from huge mountains built up by maintenance department crew trying to clear way for parking space next to city hall.
This year our hard winter seems to have plenty of the white stuff dumping loads of it at prescribed intervals divided with sleet and freezing rain meanwhile, keeping things bitterly cold in the minus thirties with the windchill.
To make it interesting we get some bright sun every so often which helps keep our spirits up taking our minds of the mounting rising energy bills keeping us warm costs.
Recently, while braving bone chilling, cold, winds dressed up in down army style long coat and warm fake fur hat and winter gloves walking back home from local shopping center after doing some minor grocery shopping I noticed this snow chunk lying there all lonesome, reminiscent of Apollo pictures of small rocks on our moon’s surface, so I took a picture of it.
This is my contribution for WP single word prompt:”STATIC”.
