Bee resting on orange flower out in Eastern Townships during Labor Day weekend unusually warm Autumn weather.
Summer this year was mostly wet, a continuance of our Spring which for the first time in 100 years brought flood waters onto the north-western part of island of Montreal causing considerable loss and hardship to many.
With the month of August we got lucky because things dried up and the sun came back along with warmer weather which continues even into the waning days of October however, Winter is just around the corner and insects like this bee already sensed their time is up.
This tiny fella seemed sluggishly resting instead of buzzing around from flower to flower like usual.
This my contribution for WP single word prompt:”ORANGE”.
