The Nulle Part Nord performed on an outdoor stage last Friday on the eve of the annual Saint Jean Baptiste celebrations in Quebec on Montreal’s West Island despite some dreadful wet weather which dampened the amount of audience participation.
Things started to improve when this motley troupe did their gig which happened to be shortly before the awesome fireworks display that came after perhaps, their music had something to do with it because the rain drizzle that plagued most of the day stopped and the skies cleared up helping to salvage the celebrations.
The sparce audience suddenly grew three-fold delighting the food-truck and other vendors meanwhile, giving Montreal’s finest some work filtering the growing crowd and blocking/limiting road access with police cars to celebrations area.
This is my contribution for WP weekly photo challenge:”DELTA”.
