Atop Crescent looking down from Sherbrooke street west towards Rene Levesque boulevard at the south end, a wall of Grand Prix fans and international visitors filled this famous street.
Muscle cars, automotive related upgrade paraphernalia including lubes and oils, radio stations outposts, liquid refreshments including beers and energy concoctions, famous brand expensive cars dealers, and fast “food” exhibits lined the street on both sides.
Fronting the exhibits beautiful young women hosts smiled and tried to be helpful to passersby interested in the variety of products they represented meanwhile, nearby popular radio hosts working in their outposts interviewed visiting celebrities and a few wide-eyed fans meanwhile, playing popular music and commercials on the airwaves for their city audiences.
I digitally captured this image after strolling up Crescent from Saint Catherine street about a block up from Rene Levesque boulevard and reaching Sherbrooke street where it all ends.
This is my contribution for WP weekly photo challenge:”ATOP”.
