Canada’s Parliament is fascinating architecture sporting poppy, royal insignia, and other pattern cravings in the quarried rock used as building bricks.
These pattern carvings adorn the main building and also those adjacent blocks near it where I spotted this very interesting pattern with a poppy in its center.
My image, a zoomed in telephoto one, depicts a poppy pattern adorning the west side block building and located high up in a round oval cavity on this building’s tower.
Whenever I visit Ottawa and Parliament I always search for interesting things that are not readily available to be seen, hidden except for those who are alert to spot them like myself.
These “lost” items are part of Canada’s art heritage most visitors don’t even have clue exist when they visit Parliament.
This my contribution for WP single word prompt:”PATTERN”.
