Seriousness of corrosion is evident in pieces of rusted pipes, valves, various spices, rings, bolts, and nuts the municipal water works department dug up and placed in this pile.
These items replaced hopefully by new more better rust resistant ones during routine maintenance by the municipality ensuring the flow of water and pressure is maintained for homes and businesses in the area.
Last summer our municipality spend many tax dollars upgrading our water works that is why a lot of digging was done all over the town as a prevention in any future disruption of the water supply which according to the famed “Murphy’s Law” usually happens at the worst possible time like perhaps, winter.
I took this photo while doing some shopping at the local shopping mall nearby and when I noticed orange cones and other signs of municipal maintenance work at the far end of the mall’s parking area I walked over to investigate an interesting pile over there.
This my contribution for WP single word prompt:”SERIOUSNESS”.
