Rack of lamb makes an exquisite meal if done using young fresh lamb weighing no more than a pound or pound and half prepared with just the right spices like for example rosemary, thyme, garlic, and pepper with a bit of salt.
There are a multitude of variations of recipes that will do however, too much of spices kills the taste because lamb is just such a lovely meat needing a tiny bit of seasoning to compliment its wonderful taste.
Perfectly seasoned, prepared, and displayed like on this picture, lamb is pleasing to the eyes while satisfying appetites of connoisseurs with a discriminating taste for fine dining.
The addition of an appropriate wine say like a fine Bordeux, Cote du Rhone, or maybe a Pinot Noir further enchances this beautiful experience.
