Chained door along with the blue-toned paper ads pasted onto the large plate-glass window panes told the story, the famed Children’s Hospital was closed for good.

Begun in 1904 it has now moved four times the previous one was to 2300 Tupper street in 1956 where the name Montreal Children’s Hospital became official.

The Montreal Children’s Hospital officially closed Tupper at 11:00 on may 24, 2015 successfully transferring 68 patients to the brand spanking new Glen ‘super hospital’ site at 1001 Décarie Boulevard.
