Perhaps a leprechaun noticed that touch of green and saved this excellent graffiti wall art or what is left of it heck, Saint Patrick’s day was quickly approaching and…well who knows?

I took this picture several weeks ago during the time I took pictures for my short video called “Montreal en Lumiere Festival“. It was on a wrecked wall of a building being gutted for transformation into a high-rise.

I made the picture because it piqued me why this little bit of wall was left and the rest torn down. It was only later, after I took the
picture and carefully viewed it, that I realized the wrecking ball destroyed another Montreal treasure, a graffiti masterpiece.

As you can see this is work by a very talented and creative ‘arteesta‘ on par to some of the mainstream artists and painters except his work is by a different medium. His work was with a paintball or spray can perhaps adding another degree of difficulty in creating art. You must notice that damage to this work was already done even before the wreckers came by neglect and various “tags” by untalented vandals.
